What can the Programme do for me?
The various cultural activities are a tool by which you can
learn to express yourself more effectively in business. From
the professionals that you will meet, you will explore how to
use your voice, your body, and your creativity in new ways that
will improve your communication skills.
The power of silence, a sense of timing, the expressive qualities
of colour, the effect of movement. These are some of the topics
that are essential qualities in presentations and in business
life generally. Through the cultural activities you will see
how the artists and performers use these qualities and many more,
and how your business can benefit from an improved awareness
and use of them.
Language acquisition and mastery depends on a fully rounded
approach, incorporating visual, aural, and practical activities.
The English Cultural Programme is the perfect
vehicle to achieve mastery of the language. It provides a highly
motivating environment which cannot be found anywhere else in
the area of language study. The cultural events in the Programme
have been designed with three objectives. One is to enable participants
to master the language, the second objective is to ensure that
the artists and performers offer sessions that are unique, and
that just aren’t available anywhere else. The third objective
is to cover the six cultural disciplines of art, dance, music,
theatre, film/video and literature through a programme of nine
sessions over nine months.
